The international UIC-IEC F2F Trainet meeting took place on Tuesday 21st of February 2017 in headquarter of AMIT company in Prague. AMiT company is active member of this important international group. The topics of meeting agenda were about standardization of Multimedia Passenger Communication System and standardization of Remote Control of Tractions and Brakes.

The Trainet group has been established based on active cooperation of UIC and IEC organizations. The UIC (Union of Railways) organization associates railway operators. The IEC TC9 organization associates experts from railway and rolling stocks manufacturers and other research companies.

The Trainet group is formed from representatives of UIC Rail Sector Forum – Rolling Stock Sector – Sector Expert Team 8 and representatives of IEC TC9 Working Group 43. The members of the Trainet group are the most important experts in railway and rolling stocks industry around the world. The objective of this group is to join efforts in standardization of railway and rolling stock applications. This group publishes documents from which are derived IEC and UIC standards.
