Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko (ZSSK) put into regular operation new 1st class cars of the Ampz series (A-160) from the Slovak manufacturer ŽOS Vrútky. Ultimately, there will be 7 new cars in a total volume of approximately 14 mio EUR. AMiT supplies a complete modern passenger information system, reservation system and audio system. Furthermore, the vehicles are fitted with air conditioning, WiFi for passengers also from AMiT or the possibility of recharging electronic devices.

New cars will be deployed on trains from Bratislava to Košice and from Bratislava to Prague. The cars are designed for speeds up to 160 kph.
