RRFSxx units are designed for protecting electrical circuits in rail vehicles with feedback on the status of the protective element, complemented by universal inputs/outputs. These units communicate with the supervisory control system using the CANopen DS 401 protocol. RRFSxx units are engineered and certified for use in rail vehicles and meet the requirements of ČSN EN 50155 (Electronic Equipment for Rail Vehicles) Class TX.

CAN connectors are daisy-chained (simplified cabling). The CAN link communication parameters are defined by the unit’s software. The unit address is set using jumpers in the power connector (known as geographical node configuration). This solution minimizes errors in unit configuration during service or replacement. Signal connectors are WAGO type X-COM.
