The IP digitizer is an essential component of the train driver’s intercom system. It serves to convert audio signals to digital signals and vice versa. It is used for audio transmission over an Ethernet network. The digitizer includes input circuits for connecting a microphone and an audio amplifier for the monitoring speaker.
