The AMiT WiFi solution for railway and rolling stock vehicles is based on an infrastructure consisting of GSM routers (WRA series products), WiFi access points (WAP series products), complemented by components such as antennas and cabling. This assembled infrastructure can serve as a comfortable vehicle Ethernet network or can be designed as a completely standalone network with support for a ring topology with full redundancy.
The onboard solution enables the provision of data services for passengers and operating personnel, naturally meeting the strict requirements for railway vehicles. When crossing national borders, our solution ensures intelligent switching of GSM connections between mobile operators using positioning services (GNSS) GPS/Galileo/Beidou/Glonass.
